Seems like they go too far into the block?? Also I accidently got coolant in the stud holes should I make sure their dry before installing the studs?? Don't want to harm the block when everything gets put under pressure?? Thanks for the help.........again.
make sure the holes are dry before putting studs in. they will be under too much pressure, way too much and u could crack some ****.

Clean the holes up good. Water will compress, but it doesn't do so very well, same thing goes for oil, the pressure will overpower cheap aluminum shear stress and you will crack the block.
Now, the holes are clean good, you should look at the ARP studs paper that comesin the box for installation help! That's what that paper is, ohhh how nice
. They should be torqued down to ARP spec, and then the head should be done the same way.

i have, and it itsnt the same in my opinion. with hydraulic brakes, it is under pressure, but there is give, the pads give/move and also that is like mixing apples and oranges. brakes and head studs are different. just remember, opinions are like ********, everybody has one and thinks the other persons is shitty so...

Not an opinion buddy liquids dont compress that much almost at all, if you apply an immense amount of pressure it will only comress a little bit. basic physics
I have heard some people torque the head studs down to 10 ft. lbs. because they sometimes don't seat right if only hand tightened. Sometimes something can get caught in a thread that will make it seem like it is tight.

also, i was considering how i know of guys hydrolocking dirtbike motors when laid over in streams and they kick them till sa head cracks, yes i have seen it, but i understand we are not talking dirtbikes so ill just shut my mouth and listen and learn

When I installed mine, I use the little allen wrench key at the top ad hand tightened it down with the appropriate allen wrench. Make sure the threads are clean with a q-tip or pipe cleaner, and you'll be straight.
