Default msd ignition question

hey i'm thinking about buying a msd ignition 6AL for my ek9...however,i heard that it affects the music in your car...does it really cause a lot of static?...i do have a lot of music in my car and i wont like to install this to realise that it is going to mess up my music...

also is there any other problems i should be aware about?...thanks in advance...

1. you don't have an ek9
2. you have no need for msd ignition

well not to push tmy opinion on you. its your decision not mine

1. it can affect radio reception
2. while you dont really need it stock honda ignitors are known to go eaisly
i have the msd sci ignition and personally i like it i've noticed slightly better gas mialage which in theses times are a big plus. and also alot of times its easier to start in the cold weather

get the msd cap with the power tower allready on it. because the power towers are a pain to get on right on a stock or aftermarket cap. i ruined two new aftermarket caps untill i finally got one that dosent have a thin wire in the cap

i dont have any interference problems with mine. ive got the 12v and ground wires directly on the batteries terminals. as stated above i also noticed a gain in mpg, and it seemed a little more responsive. if you use a blaster ss coil, make sure you keep a spare as they tend to go out about every 1-1.5 years. also get a good rotor as the higher spark energy tends to burn up cheaper ones quicker. the msd rotor, and the duralast rotors(autozone) are good, as they have a thicker conductor. hope this helps.

MSD ignition products are on almost every kind of race car and are on a lot of street cars. Having such a huge array of products alone should answer your question. People have to suggest and buy the products for them to make so many kinds. I personally wouldn't run any other kind of ignition system except for MSD(IMO they're better than Crane, Mallory, etc...). The only thing that you can find better are wires IMO.
