Default Went to Track 95 mph trap what can i expect

i went to the track about a week ago and waited all night for one run since quick sixteen cars were running.

the car is a 92 hatch with us B18C1
skunk2 intake manifold
hasport mounts
rage header
buddy club exhaust
hankook all season tires

i had a 2.30 60' and trapped 95mph. i ran a 15.00

im not really dissapointed with it since i only got one run but is 95mph trap low for what i have done. also what kind of times can i expect with a 95mph trap speed. thanks.

95 seems real low man..I had a stock gsr that trapped like 93-94 in an integra...I would think you should be more around 100 myself..

you can go low 14's trapping 95 if you get on some slicks.
some more seat time and your trap would probably be better too. i know i can make a pass and if i'm off just a little bit coming out of the hole or shifting i can be down like 3mph.

yeah i figured i would have taken off a lot of time and gained a few mph with more runs because i bogged a little off the line. hopefully i will get more runs in next time at the track.

Yea low 14s seems about right. In my Prelude that was a good enough trap for 14.5. Im sure with more driver time 97 is possible along with a really low 14s time.

Edit: What tire PSI are you at? And what RPM are u launcing at?

i didnt mess with the tire pressure at all so im guessing somewhere around 35 psi. i figured they were street tires so lowering them wouldnt do that much plus i only got one run so i wasnt able to play around with anything. i launched around 3500-4000. i thought i was going to spin considering it was really cold and i spin on the street but it bogged a little then took off. im guessing i could have gotten a high 2.1 60' with more time at the track.

also will lowering tire pressure on normal street tires do much. i figured it would just lower trap speed. thanks

Well to give u an example, yes it will. Me personally, i hit a 2.0 60ft(even a freakish 1.8 at a really sticky track...) with AVS ES 100s 195/50/15 at 15PSI. My suggestion would be start at 20PSI and work with that, if your still spinning too much lower it a tad bit and so on.

95 mph trap can be anything depending on traction. Low 14,s with slicks high 14,s to low 15's with street tires. My hatch @ 4260 ft ran an 14.93 @ 95 with an 2.3 60 ft on 13" vx wheels and 20x8x14' mickey thompsons i ran an 14.3 @ 94 with an 1.9 60 ft (Teal VX hatch with an B16 Sir 2 Header, intake, exhaust). Im boosted now and my slicks, pump gas and 8 psi ( 12.98 @ 108 with all stock internals tuned on s-300 with an 1.84 60 ft)

what was your 60ft on that run.

it seems like people are trapping around 95 sometimes less and have the same 60ft as me if not worse but are running slightly better times. does this mean that my shifting needs to be faster into second or third or are there other factors.
