15.2, first time, feedback please
Well, it was my first time at the track and my first run STANK!
I actually ran an 18.5... I did more things wrong than... well... lets just say it was a lot
I ran consistent 15.4's and pulled off a 15.268.
Reaction: 0.653
I1: 2.345
I2: 6.697
I3: 9.826
ET: 15.268
MPH: 90.291
I have a 92 Integra LS with B20z, Comptech header, Skunk2 IM, AEM CAI, Thermal exhaust... I was hoping for a little better, but I am pretty happy
ay ideas on how to improve that? I have been told I'm probably running a little lean, so a fuel pressue regulator is in order.
what do you think?

out of curiosiy, what kind of 60ft times should I be getting... tires are nothing special, Khumos
if I got a 2.2 60ft, is a 14 possible?

your running pretty close to what i ran,
2.3 60ft
9.7 1/8th
73 mph
15.1 1/4
90 mph
i ran last night with my stock skinny 13" wheel and managed to get a 2.2 60ft, i think with a little more seat time and having it tuned a bit youll be in the 14s in no time

Not to bad of times. In my CRX the best I have been able to do is 15.1@91MPH. B20B, sk2 IM Open DC header filter on Intake and 93 LS cams B&M FPR. My 60ft was 2.3 with crappy street tires and temp was around 75-80, next time I went out I hit a 2.2 60ft and 15.3@90mph but it was 108 degrees out and track temp was 125 and the car felt really loose so thats all I decided to race. As for running lean, check your plugs and see what they look like. I had my fuel pressure at 42psi and was running rich (plugs were coated with black soot) (this is with the PR4 ECU). I turned down the fuel pressure to 38psi and now my plugs are tanish with a hint of black....

BLAZE you need to hook an exhaust up to your car bro your not getting enough back pressure thats why your car is goin 15.1 put an whxaust on and get rid of that open header your car will be quicker

After I hit 3k with the exh. on my car acts like it can't breathe. Do you have any dyno proof of a car that makes more power with an exh. system then one that does not? When I hit 3k with the cut out open, the just car rips. The best exhaust is a free flowing one. Do any of the PRO NA guys run a full exhaust? No, because backpressure will choke the motor not letting the exhaust gases flow out because they are running into exh. that is still stuck in the piping try to escape. My buddy has a 94 4 door. Best he could hit was a 18.3. I dropped the exh. at the cat and I drove it to a 17.1. Now I know that driver can play a huge part in et times but after I left he pulled a 17.4. Full exhuast is a killer in my opinion and most exh. systems sound like crap compared to an open header.

Dude then it was your cat it all depends on what setup your running inside your motor if you have a sock motor on stock piping the car will proforme well there is no way running open header on a stock internal motor is it going to make it faster my boys gsr motor in a 96 hatch has 11:5:1 pistons rods stage 2 cam intake manifold valves 2mm oversized type r header now the car would go a consistant 13.9 with no exhaust(cause of the type r header he had to run open for a little bit till he had the money to put an exhaust on) he put 2 1/4 piping on to a gsr muffler and his car went 13.57 just with puttin the muffler on and this is a built motor dude you need to have some back pressure is all im saying if your running a turbo car then your right then you want very little to no back pressure i run my car through stock exhaust with a dump system my car goes 13.4 through the stock exhaust and 12.7 with the open dump tube on a street tire at 18psi like i said it depends on your setup and the pro guys run open header cause there compression is at like 12;5;1 its way up there man

I'm not certain I'm running lean, I was just told that a b20z with a b18a1 ecu will run lean at full throttle.. I was advised to get a fuel presure regulator and just turn up the pressure a bit

sweet... I really want 14s with this setup.. and I think I can pull it off
it was a pretty cool day out, thats why I decided to go... the track was empty and I got in at least 14 runs.
I think I'll wait and go in late september...with air temperatures a lot lower
