idle issues in GSR swapped 99 EX

Default idle issues in GSR swapped 99 EX

i put my GSR motor into my 99 coupe. its throwing a code 14 for the IACV. i cleaned it out several times and it still doesnt work. soo, i replaced it and i still get the same problem. anyone have any other ideas on this problem????

I was throwing an IACV code and it ended up being a vacuum leak on the Intake manifold. Check all you hoses and vacuum ports.

Good call, also check the adjustment screw.

r u talking about the adjustment screw in the TB????

also, i am using an LS TB......would that make a difference???

the actual throttle body itself shouldnt make a difference. but the way the adjustment screw is set, will affect the idle.

k, ill have to check it out then.....................had same problem on my LS motor but at least it idled when it was cold. the GSR motor wont idle at all until its warm
