what would it take

i have a 94 civic with a b16a obd-1... anyway... my dad just bought a 2000 civic dx hatch... what would it take to put my obd-1 motor into the ek hatch? would the mounts be the same?

No you would need new mounts. Everything else should plug in with no problem. You will need a jumper harness for your OBD1 ECU.
