Guess how much wiper blades cost on 06 models??
So summer is over already, and the intense summer heat has caused my driver side wiper blade to leave streaks and make obnoxious noises. Went in to get ONE blade and it ran me $31, not installed. Granted that the techs came out to the dealer lot and helped me install it anyway. So it's safe to assume that replacing both would've ran me over $60 bucks just on parts alone. Just a heads up for anyone that has wiper-wear and is planning on replacing them.
ps. Bosch (or whatever other aftermarket brands are out there) is not available for 06+ models. Not yet at least, so don't count on going to Pepboys or Advanced Auto to get some for cheap in the time being.

Yeah inserts would've been the cheapest way to go, and of course DIY. Dealership wanted to charge $30+ on labor to put the inserts in telling me "they're a pain in the butt to put in". I was in a hurry, so I'll take one for the team here, learn from my mistakes.
They got my g/f once too. Took her car in for oil change and I get home and shes screaming cause they charged her 35 bucks for blades and another 40 for an air filter. I went back down took off the parts and got the money back. Went to the parts store and paid under 20 for everything. Just learn from your mistakes and NEVER go to the dealer unless it's warranty for the little stuff
Just replace the inserts... they are like 5 bucks a piece!
No sense in replacing the entire blade as the rubber insert is the only part that sees abuse.

yea tre knows, and they do take car of you with the inserts, the inserts cost the dealer almost 4 bucks so there isnt a lot of mark up.
the blades are expensive the drivers retails at 36 and 31 for the passenger.
if you need to ones ask for these part numbers they are for the inserts

they are very easy to put on, they just slide out and there are a couple little guides you take off the old ones and put in the new ones and then slide the new ones in.

Save your money, buy the inserts if you can. Honda had them for $12 total for a 07, at the dealership. Took literally 30 seconds a side to replace. Spend the savings on beer.
