Help with my moates burn 1
ok, hooked up the driver and the burner, comupter recognizes it because i can do the erase chip function, but when i try to burn a .bin off the buffer, it gives me error messages... please help
ok tried that and still nothing... installed it on my pos desktop and it worked perfectly... wtf,.,, nice new laptop doesnt work but pos desktop works,... what gives??
Did u go to the Device manager on your laptop and make your your com ports are properly installed and enabled?
Also did u download the USB files from the moates site?

Try selecting the right type of chip on the left.
Remember, you can only burn the SST's, Atmel, and the 4 meg.

also i noticed that with my moates burn1, i cant burn a .bin while its still open in a program like crome, uber, or hondata. u can either close the crome, uber, hondate, etc window and burn the program then reopen the crome, uber, etc program. OR u can save the .bin as something else and then program it, just make sure what ur loading into the burn1 and what program is currently open dont have the same name

its a sst chip and its selected up top.. the error message is: Check firmware and connectivity

there is no other program open and i tried a few diff chips. it will erase chip, but when you blank check or anything else, it gives error message. ive tried all 4 usb ports ... everyuthing.... this sucks
