Current issue of Turbo Magazine worth picking up
theres like a 6 page article "How to tune your header" with theory, equasions, pics, even a cool cross section of the ever popular Full Race "ramhorn" B series mani. Worh a read IMHO for you DIY turbo exhaust mani fabbers.
Agreed, but its good to always have information to sift through, you may just glean somthing useful, or somthing that you'd forgotten.
BTW....i do not consider turbo magazine "rice"....thats for the likes Import Tuner, HCI and Super street. They have had alot fo good info i learned from that helped me with all my builds, and I run 10's all day.

I consider most tuner mags rice mags. Turbo included, only car related magazines worth a dime in the non-rice aspect, is Racecar engineering and some V8 magazines imho.
PS. I dont run 10's, but then again I dont drag race either.

What book has good header theory? Not being a smartass, I actually want to know.

I got a few books in finnish that have them, but I would believe this book would be a good choice http://www.amazon.com/Modify-E...books
That book is rated 2 stars out of 5 stars by amazon, the reader reviews arent flattering at all. So its a crapshoot at best, but you would rather buy that book for $24 with a good chance its an outdated steamy pile rather than cop a mag for $5 that will at the very least give you a clue about where to look next or what direction to go in, and on top of that uses the top fabricators and their methods as reference.
This is why I dont say much on H-T. </discussion>

Dude's just trying to give the heads up on some info that might be useful to some people. I don't think he realized he was posting to a site full of MIT graduates. People need to cool out a bit

Alot of books get shitty ratings, especially if its textbook and not a picture book, like turbo magazine, however I guarantee that the book has much more indepth info than turbo magazine.
D Sport is actually a really technical magazine and always do lots of tests, and alot of theory/tech in their writeups. Thats the only magazine I give tech/smart props to. Only problem is really based on cars for drag

You're so ignorant it's funny go pick up the mag and read there is some good info in there and for 5 bucks you can't go wrong.
Funny thing is I have never seen the book you recommended being referenced or recommended by anyone that knows intake and exhaust systems. Who knows maybe they missed a needle in a haystack.
Point being the guy gave a nice heads up with some actual valuable information while you're here criticiszing him and thenposting books that get bad reviews.
Yes racecar engineering is a great mag and there are tons of other ones but it doesn't mean you can rule out everything else.
Fact of the matter is the guiy that wrote the article in Turbo probably forgot more then you will know
