My Daily-Driver is a 95 4door ls(auto) and lately i feel like i've been buying gas so often... I dont drive it too far but i find my self having to put gas everyday or every other day.. its like its going to quick.... i was just wondering is there something wrong with my car because before i would be able to drive it all week and only put gas once.... hopefully you fellow honda-tech'ers can help my pocket out because i spent waaaay to much money this month on gas...

 

inflation of gas prices? check your tire pressure, also, fuel filter might need to be changed. try some fuel injector cleaner. or, just drive it easy.

 

could be a bad 02 sensor also causign it to burn a lot of fuel

replace your air filter... just do the basic maitnence stuff

 

i had the same problem when i had my '89 RPS13. i just changed out the air filter, got some fuel injector cleaner, changed the plugs and wires, and the gas mileage improved a whole lot.

but yeah, the O2 sensor might be the problem too.. but do your regular maintenance and if that doesn't work... look at the O2 sensor.
