How do you check if the motor mounts are bad?

How do you check if the motor mounts are bad?
I'm asking because uphill my idle is smoother, but downhill or level ground my idle seems to be higher. I think my motor is sitting bad so how do I go about checking this, I have a 92 prelude with a jdm h22a motor. Can i retighten something?

What?...I don't see how the angle of the engine would cause different idles....
If you want to check out the motor mounts though, just look at them. See what shape the rubber is in and if the DS oil-filled mount is leaking.

Well i was parked at a small upward angle and the car idled lower..idk whats going on here...and what is the DS oil-filled mount is leaking, where is it located.

Yeah, that weird looking one with the round top. I don't know if 5th gens have it or not....or what the point of it is.
