how do i bleed my clutch system?

Default how do i bleed my clutch system?

i searched and got nothing helpful. i need to where exactly where each valve/screw is and the steps. thanks

it's in front of the tranny near where it connects to the block.

nope. follow the hydrolic lines that run from the back of the tranny over the top of it to the front of the tranny. if u look you should be able to find it pretty easily.

front of the block/tranny, hydraulic lines running to the slave cyl, there should be a nipple where you open and bleed it.

basically bleed it like your brake system.

The nipple is right on the front of the tranny. Looks just like a brake bleeding valve.

It is an 8mm bleed screw that is located near the clutch fork, on the slave cylinder, towards the front of the engine, near the radiator/exhaust manifold.

To bleed it:
open screw, push clutch pedal, close screw, release clutch pedal and repeat. Keep the clutch fluid full the entire time.

if you arent getting good pedal pressure try only pushing down the clutch pedal half way down each time you pump it

im currently trying to do this, and my clutch goes straight to the floor. Even if you press the clutch just a little, it SLAPS to the floor..

what am i forgetting?

close the bleeder screw when you are done..?

or your slave cylinder may have gone bad...i ve gone through about 4 of the cheap ones. look and see if its leaking.

are you pushing the clutch with the screw open or closed? Is your fluid levels full?

u have to pump the fluid in the nipple with, like oilcan like this one http://www.wordpower.ws/phonics/oilcan-w225.gif, then the clutchpedal will go up l

Be sure the pump is really clean
