Default Temp Gauge question on my b16a

kind of a pointless question but does anyone out there have a b16a2 swap in a EH that the temp runs a little high? ive owned hondas and acuras all my life, usually the temp needle reads about 1/4 of the way give er take a few notches. well mine for some reason reads about dead center. and just wondering if thats a gauge issue or does that engine run warmer? i got a 3 inch aftermarket radiator and it still sayes the same. no codes present. all is good runs like a champ.... anyone know what thats all about?
