A'pexi 3" World Sport II Universal Muffler on 96-00 Hatch with CTR rear lip
i'm thinking about getting one of these mufflers (http://inlinefour.com/apworsporiiu.html) for my car, but i'm just wondering how the fitment issues are on a hatch with a CTR rear lip. i dont want the muffler to burn my lip. I'll be getting all new piping since i will be putting on my turbo kit soon and need a muffler so i will need to do the whole piping.i would also like to know your reviews on this exhaust, like the performance and how it sounds. If anyone that is running one of these please post some pictures up.
TIA

You need to find out the overall length of the can part of the muffler. Does your exhaust go over the rear LCA or under?

i dont know the length, and i'm doing all new piping because i'm putting on my kit soon and i need a muffler. so i can make it go over or under the LCA. I just need to know if it's going to fit correctly and how it performs.

The issue is that the distance from the LCA to the bumper, when going over the LCA is a problem with long mufflers like that, the 5Zigen, etc. You need to measure it to be certain. What exhaust kit are you going to be using?

yeah, i guess i can go to inline four to measure it, im just afraid this muffler is to big for my car and wont fit correctly. i just dont want to go with a es/vibrant muffler. i hate how they look.
and im not sure of what exhuast kit i'll be using, probably jsut custom. what do you recommend?
