A'pexi 3" World Sport II Universal Muffler fitment
I'm thinking about getting this muffler at the moment for my turbo set up, but i don't how the fitment is on hondas (specifically a 96-00 hatch). I also saw on old threads people said that it was to restrictive and they lose HP with this muffler.
so my questions are:
how is the fitment of this muffler on a 96-00 hatch (with a ctr rear lip)
if you are running this muffler, did you run the pipe under or below the LCA
and the performance overall.
any other reviews will greatly apprecaited it.
here is a picture of the muffler courtesy of inlinefour.com

As I recall, its a 3inch straight through, not sure how it will lose power, by flow.
Unless only by weight, but as we all know, that can slow things down tad bit.
Nothing significant>?

yeah, i was just looking though old threads...i guess people were running the NA version which made them lose power.
anyone know if it fits hondas? or are they made more for like factory turboed cars like subaru, evo, supra ect.

Did you ever measure with those numbers I gave you? That should tell you if it will fit or not.....

if the inlet is in the center of the muffler and the canister is longer that 14" it's gonna be hard fitting it on an hatch. It would fit, but it would need to hang lower in the rear so the the piping can clear the lca and nobody likes a limp exhaust
then again, if you don't mind trimming your bumper for the tip to clear it should be all good.

The inlet is in the middle of the muffler, and i dont want it to limp. i would like it to fit nicely without it angling all weird and with out trimming my bumper because i have CTR rear lip
the mearsurements Boosted B6teen gave me was:
inlet to tip = 26"
muffler canister length= 15"
muffler caninster width = 10"
muffler canister height = 7"
if i remember correctly

Re: (JDM B16 EK)
it probably won't fit as nice as you want, but it'll fit.
A Magnaflow measures something like:
canister = 14"
height = 4"
width = 8"
and those are already a tight fit.

Re: (JDM B16 EK)
The world sport does not have the inlet and exit in the middle, they are offset toward the bottom so you can tuck it under the bumper better,
