I wana get a ws2 and a dc or megan header. Is this a good combo and how does the ws2 sound with a header?

Are you adding an exhaust for power gains or sound?

IIRC, the WS2 yields little to no power gains.

Not really. I mean I put them all on at the same time and my butt-dyno isn't really excited.

well, did you watch the vids? I have the header connected to the exhast so it ain't loud at all. That's why I opted for the WS2. performance and quiet.

You're not going to make much power with any exhaust, any header (there ARE exceptions... for like $800), and any intake. I/H/E = I Help the Economy. $1000 for a whopping 3whp.

A ghetto-*** turbo kit will net you around 40 ponies, where your header and exhaust will net you 3?

Sounds like a good trade off, I would much rather have the exhaust.

just because it's quiet doesn't mean it's stock. WS2's and Tanabe SMH (similar exhaust, I have one) are quiet when they need to be, and throaty at full throttle, but still maintain less than 93db, well within the legal limit.

3hp? If your driving a stock SOHC then yes, you will probably only gain 3-10hp from (for example) a Apex WS exhaust, descent header and intake... however when your talking about using these on a modified engine, such as a built NA b-series, then you will yeild significantly higher gains obviously.

what if u run a straight through muffler, with a big resonator or multiple resonators. I heard this makes it quiet untill u get on it.
