RE-730's, short review
In one word, pretty crappy. For $93 a piece I could think of other tires I would rather have.
The main issue is that the grip is horrible. Everytime I drive on the street it is like Disneys Escapades on Ice (I live in Arizona, it's a figure of speech for you slow guys...).
I would not recommend this tire to anyone. I think I will try to get a set of Azenis next and see how those work.

Are they brand new? Maybe they need some breaking in.
I will be stepping up the tire pressure this weekend, I am currently running at about 36 PSI front and 32 rear.
please let me know the tires are after adding some air! i was thinking about them for future replacements.
my buddy with a 328i loves his over his stock continentals. of course, his are 17's so it may make a difference since it has shorter sidewalls.
were u running 15's or some other size?

Amazing how tire trends change, I remember not too long ago on this board these were being talked about at least once a week, first it was kumho 712's, then the 730's, now its Azenis...

I have 730's and Love em'. They grip like a Motha!!!!!! I don't know what you are talking about, but i run mine more like 38 psi....front and rear wasn't sure what they should be at but they work excellent for me
mine are 205/50/15 on stock si wheels. Maybe its not great to you since you are probably switching from such an inferior tires as the stock michelins that i had on the si?? But I assure you that they grip sooo good and are amazing in the rain!!

Yea, I too remember when everyone was talking about them. I also remember when everyone was talking about the Kosei K-1's. Now look at that, thats the setup I'm running, what a coincidnece. I did quite a bit of research on them before buying them and everyone I talked to gave them a big
for their excellent blend of performance and lifespan. Its these factors that made this tire an excellent choice for daily driving as well as auto-x'ing I also checked tireracks review section on these tires and everyone gave them rave reviews.

My experience is otherwise.
Granted, they're not even as grippy as RE-010s, but they're decent for a street tire and they last and last and last... Although they're rated "AA" for traction, I think the RE-010s and certainly the S-03s are better choices, irrespective of cost.
For a majority of drivers that don't push their street tires to the limit, RE-730s are more than adequate. There are so many "show" drivers on this board... the RE-730 should make them happy
After all AA, A 300 is not a bad set of stats.

i have them in 20/50R15...i really like them. I recommened them.
Even been in a car with them on, and struck something really bad at 120 mph....car barely even flintched.....VERY stiff tire walls.
300AA A and Z-rated does help.
The only next step for me would be the S-03's, though.

All I'm saying is that there are, eh? No stones were thrown - but I'll toss this one, now... there are people on this board that have spent untold thousands of $$$ on Spoon-this or JDM-that and have never once pushed their tires to the limit.I have RE-730s... and I drive like a madman. They're not BAD tires, and they do have nice statistics.
