jdm B20b totally stock in 99 Ek ...worth it??
I have been thinkin about swapping for a b series, and like the idea that the B20b would be a little different from the norm. I would be running it completely stock after the swap, no turbo or internals, maybe just the odd bolt on. Is it worth the work, or should i go b18c1/5 when i get more cash? Looks like i can get the engine and all the parts for about 1 grand, and this would be a stepping stone to a later b18c1or 5 swap in the future maybe......so worth it for the extra torque on my daily driven car??? completely stock 99 dx right now
Thanks for the help as always

That's crazy I'm doing the exact same thing.. Well i m going b20vtec. I heard the run good even stock.. If u get it you also need a different intake manifold since the b20's is too high.. And a tranny too.. I already had a b16 so I'm gonna swap some parts.. I think its worth it.. Go for it
Thanks guys...anyone else have opinions??
What might be the tranny of choice for running a stock b20? I have to do some searching on trannies yet to learn about the different gearing, but if price was not an option, what would u think the best bet would be for daily driving, mostly highway???

good bang for your buck! And you can do LS/Vtec later and be better than a type-r and cheaper. Or boost as well. Some people are just set on Hype-R being the only and best. Depends on what you want.
