Default 99 EK.. stock motor sucks any suggestions?

i got my car like 2 months ago and i know that this topic has been gone over time and time again but i want to know if i should go with a B16A2 out of a USDM civic SI? ( and i would like to know if it is truly BOLT IN/ PLUG AND PLAY) or as my friend suggested a B18C1 out of a GSR... <--- i think that is to much work. any suggestions?

B18c1 would be nice and i could probibly do the swap myself i am mechanically inclined.. but im new in the honda game and would worry about taking on a task that large and to tell you the truth i wouldnt trust anyone but myself with my car... so it puts me in a bit of a dituation here..... i think i would like to do the b16a2 swap but i need to know if it is truly plug and play with the exeption on running V-Tech wires?

It's basically the same swap. USDM B18C1s are far easier to find than USDM B16A2s, and conveniently, they have more power. No replacement for displacement . . .
