removing old cat back from cat
i need to get the custom bent cat back exhaust off of my old eg coupe for use on my new ek coupe. however the 3 bolts holding the cat back to the cat are pretty damn rusted. (bolted flush, not spring/bolt). anyone have any tricks to breaking the bolts free/off? maybe heat? i cant start the car to heat up the bolts, so i'd have to use a torch.
also, the exhaust is one piece, i can't take it apart at all, this shouldnt be a problem in getting it off should it? i assumed i could just jack up the rear end and slip it over the suspension.

just use brute strength. heat makes metal expand so it'll just make it harder so youre better off just maybe spraying wd-40 on the bolts and puting some muscle into it. make sure youre straight on the nut with the wrench so you dont strip anything.

totally forgot about that stuff.
to the OP:
get your hands on that, i think ive seen similar products (if not, the same exact product) at most any autoparts/hardware store

actually i dont know about heat making it harder...have you ever tried to take headers off of a cold engine? its almost impossible. then again the head is aluminum and the bolt is steel.

It is some good stuff. I used to to free up the rusted OEM downpipe on my GS-T when I had it, and it has always been good around the house as a lubricant, and doing mechanical work.
