When I turn my car on it stays on but idles really really low. As soon as I give it gas my rpm's will drop down and the car just turns off. What can I do to fix this problem? I am not throwing any codes btw.
Any help yould be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

does the car die when you apply the brakes??? i had the same problem and i replaced the one way check valve on the brake booster and adjusted the idle
if you try to kick the gas a lil and the car revs then dies.. check to make sure your tps and map sensor plugs arent backwards. If your idle is extremely low adjust the idle screw.
if your car dies when you stop then it sounds like your battery/alternator might need some help.. got a voltmeter? check the volts on your battery terminal should read +13 with motor on. if less then new alternator is needed or the alternator belt should be tightened.
more info and more consistant info on the problem with your car would be helpful

I phrased it wrong. When i rev my car the rpms rise like normal, but instead of idleing like normal after the car just dies..

Yes.. and you can also try to adjust your idle like was mentioned before.

check your battery voltage when car is on... if your alternator isnt putting out enough power it will not beable to support the vehicles voltage needs when the motor isnt spinning very fast. slower rpm = slower motor speed = less work done by alternator = less voltage = car struggles to stay on = battery has heart attack = car turns off = u roll down hill
or
buy voltmeter or go to advance autoparts type place = get voltage checked = -13 get new alternator or tighten belt =

this problem has happend for two days in a row, but today it drove fine and did not turn off when the rpms were low or when i came to a stop.. Not sure what it was but im still going to check by bat. and alternator.. Thanks.
does it always die or just sometimes?
1. Use voltmeter to read battery voltage on, off, and while revving. Also measure voltage at the alternator (big screw) should be between 12b off and around 13-14v on.
If thats good ->
2. Check for vaccum leaks (pressurized system wit comrpessor, listen for leaks)
3. If all that stuff checks out your ignitor may be fading try swapping in a diff. dizz see if that helps.
