i am pretty sure my clutch went out, but just thought i would explain the symptoms:
i started the car, and runs normal, i put it into first gear, and i let the clutch out, and went to accelerate, but ..........the car did'nt budge.
i rev it, and does'nt go, even know it is in gear, so i am guessing that my clutch went out, i mean its not engaging to the engine, and it made a slipping sound when i first tried to accelerate,...........anyway, luckily it only happened right a couple feet of my driveway, and happened right when i was about to leave, so i just rolled the car back in the driveway.
it is the clutch right?, its strange, cause i looked in my haynes manual, and it did'nt really have that as a symptom to troubleshoot, i know helms is better, and i need to get a helms.
any info i would appreciate, thnx

Is there any pressure when you push down the clutch? If no pressure, chances are that your clutch cable snapped or is disconnected. Has the clutch been slipping or did this just happen, because I haven't heard of a clutch that go out completely. Your car should move some. I'm not saying it can't happen though.
will it allow you to change to second gear?
happened to me twice first time i guess i chewed my act clutch.
2nd time a shop said my tranny was fuckt
goodluck.

1) Check pressure when engaging clutch
2) Try a 2nd gear launch. You'd likely bog and stall, but if you move, you may have "dropped" 1st gear, and it'd eliminate the possibility of a ruined clutch
