just got a 2003 s2000 and was driving down the hwy and the stock radio just shut off completly, i checked the fuse and it was fine ....did the radio take a crap? can i take it out without messing with the security system?

take it to the honda dealership. you can take the cd player out to look at it. just pull on the radio door, it is held in by clips, til it pops off, then take out the 2 screws on each side and pull the deck out. if you don't know the code, DON"T unplug it or you'll have to go to honda with the serial number and regestraion to get it. IMO just buy a new one.

 

You can wrip it out, only if you know the code, if you dont know the code then you are screwed and you will need to go to the Honda Dealer to get a new one.
