I had battery disconnected and resetted my ECU. I lost the code to my cd player so what do I do?

 

go to ur glovebox...and look at the sides of it...should be a five digit code...black lettering on a white stick on sticker...

 

I don't see anything on the sides of my glovebox

 

hmm...well thats where it was at on my 99 civic si...well...first off...you should have gotten a set of radio theft cards that has the radio code on it from the dealership when the car was purchased...so check in your owners manuel...if u dont see them in there...take ur car to the dealer and with your vin number...they can get ur radio code for you.

 

we did the same, then we called honda with the radio serial number. take it to your local stereo dealer or shop

 

I have done that on my last Accord. I had to get the serial number off the back of the unit and go to the dealer. They can cross refrence the code from the serial number through Honda.

 

It might be underneath the cover for the under hood fuse box

good, the dealership actually did something right. they arent suppoesed to put it where thieves can find it

remove it from the manual. thats seriously the dumbest thing honda did...make a cd code so no one can use it if stolen, then put the code in the owners manual.
