Fastbrakes 11.75 four piston kit
Anyone use this kit? I need more stopping power, but want to retain my 15" wheels (kosei k1's).

Wow, $1300 for 3/4 of an inch in rotor and bigger calipers. Why not just get some NSX/Legend calipers and some really good pads? That would be A LOT cheaper.
Just wondering why you think your brakes are inadequate? ITR brakes are known to be track worthy.

I don't think the price is too bad considering the price of Spoon calipers that don't increase the rotor size.

But his car is Turbo and I'm sure he's going alot quicker than many of us and more than likely beating on the brakes to the point of red headed stepchild abuse.

My car makes 325hp. My corner enterance speed is considerably faster than most ITR's, I'm tired of having to let off early and deal with brake fade. I'm also not convinced the NSX upgrade will be good enough.
I'm just trying to find the best set up that will resist fade but still allow me to retain my 15" wheels. Any one with some actual experience with this fastbrake kit?

I have it on the 'lude. It kills the OEM R brakes in terms of longevity and fade. Plus it's a ton lighter than OEM brakes.(yes, a ton. 2000 lbs).
Feel is really good too, but the 'lude has no ABS and a manual proportioning valve for front/rear.
Kosei K1 +38mm clears fine, but it's awfully close (i.e. the wheel has scrapes on it from when the wheel bearing went bad and made gentle contact with the caliper). If you have +43 or so wheels you might need spacers.

Good info Chris
BTW I wanted to know what you go through more, motors or wheel bearings?
