my rears squeak when i let OFF the brake... why?

That means either the wheel bearings are going out (likely) Or the wheel cylinder is not pulling the shoes all the way off of the drum lining. Check to make sure everything is adjusted properly, and cleaned.

 

That's weird, someone just posted the same question about the same car on another forum that I frequent. But considering you are from NJ I guess it isn't you.

People said to grease your sliders & put some brake-quiet on the pads. I dunno if that will work but just passing the info. along.

That is for the front. I don't THINK he had rear rotors, but I may be wrong. But you are right any way it goes.

That, and make sure everything is adjusted properly. When it is done right, you should be able to put the drum on, and it should spin freely with the E-Brake disengaged.

 

I seriously doubt it is the wheel bearing, honda uses cartridge style bearings which seldomly have to be replaced unless they have well over 200k miles or there are extreme conditions, check to make sure everything is adjusted properly.

yea , i when to the shop and they dont the springs ad etc needed to geased/cleaned up
