Finally the Big Bad B16A/CTR Project is on the road. Not without a few problems on the way. Problem after problem. I worked on it for 26hrs straight from 10am Sunday to 12am Monday, then again today from 8pm-12pm. It should never take that long, but things got shitty. I would elaborate but you would get bored fast. I made alot of stupid mistakes. Anyway I'm 1000miles away from my first redline and I'm pumped. I haven't taken it over 4000rpm yet but it sounds strong. I'll have pics soon, it's late, it's dusty. I got to drive like mad now and get her broke in. I have to rig up an exhaust tomorrow it is running open ITR header right now, you don't want to know how evil it sounds. Anyway I'll keep ya posted, Niagra here we come!!!!
Dont drive it hard at all with just the headders on!! (im sure you know..but just to be sure). Bad things can happen. I had to drive my B18b swap to the exhaust shop with just a header, and it sounded like I was flying a turboprop!! It was sooooo loud. Good job on the swap! Hope you love it!

I hope to share your overwhelming experience in a couple of weeks...My motor's being built right now, LS/Vtec. Here's my set up: bottom end, shot peened LS rods, oversized ITR pistons, balanced. GSR head, port & polish, ITR retainers, springs, valve guides, CTR cams (intake and exhaust), Skunk2 intake, BBK 70mm throttle body, AEM CAI, clutchmasters lightened flywheel, JDM ITR 4-1 header the only weak part I think is the 2 1/4 inch HKS exhaust...all this on an 88 Civic DX. Keep me posted on how your break in goes...I'm as excited...it's like waiting for a new baby to be born...or a baby monster, lol
Same here man...I finished my B18b swap last week and drove it with an open ITR header to the muffler shop. Took the side streets for a 2 mile drive down and to whatever my neighbors think of this totally loud set up is just music to my ears. Especially with the AEM CAI...what a deep throaty roar! 2 more weeks for my full LS/vtec set up and counting...Yeah baby!

The beast is running strong. I drove to columbus everyday last week and really tacked up the miles. I haven't raced it yet but it runns really good. It idles great and pulls really hard. I can just roll it on in 5th and it begings accelerating quite strongly. It hits vtec @4500 and turns from run of the mill CRX to OMG CRX on a scarface dose of coke buzz. It pulls hard, it hits 5500 and seems to jerk again. It weight transfers like a MFer too with the Z-10 kit. last night some *** in a 5.slow conv. sporting a chrome roll bar got on my *** hardcore, I couldn't see his headlights in either back window. I was taking a buddy for a ride and this was the second chance to visit Mr. Redline. I dropped it in second at like 40mph and opened it all the way up. I hit 110mph instantly and he was left sitting he didn't even try. I was kinda pissed he didn't try, it would of been an easy kill. He probally never saw a Honda pull like that. At least he now knows I am not to be fucked with. Today I was ******* around on the way to work just running some gears and, I watched the speedo climb faster than I had ever seen a speedo go. I am really inpressed with my sub4500 performance. It has a decent pull, and then of course the secondary lobes kick in. I am in general very happy with the performance, of my motor. I now need fast brakes worse than ever. As far as Niagra goes I can't wait to see you all, I know have a somewhat interior, with all weight **** ganked of course, my engine bay is all painted and polished now too. Not near what it was last year. To the guys building the motors, good luck and I hope nothing but the best for you. The guy who told me to get cam gears I have Skunk 2's and I won't dyno it till I have a vafc. I'll have pics soon. I'm kinda dejected chics don't look ant my car anymore without the heavy 17's. All the bling bling is under the hood, oh well that is where it matters I guess. I can always steal away the heavy domestic sled oppisition's girlfriend after I smoke his car. People who know show respect and everybody is starting to know quickly. Oh yeah I picked up some plates that say JDM PWR, they wouldn't let me get USDM SUX. The plates are usally a dead givaway to people in the know. Anyway I'll have some pics of the car up soon I just washed it tonight. I'll have pics tomorrow.

Watch it bart that red 5.0 is a supercharged beast running 13's although when we set up a race between him and bobby he ran away, although i did see the5.0 run at the track and it was a beast.
