Default finally boosted

Well i actually finished my setup 2 weeks ago but wtdr wouldn't let me upload pics. What a damn weekend that was. We started at 11:30am friday and finished at 4:30 am on that same saturday. Yes that's 17 straight hours of work. The only break we took was to go buy another air rachet, grinder, cutter from harbor frieght and that's it. But it was well worth it. There was a total of about 8 guys that worked on it through out the course of the day/nite. It would have taken a shorter time but we had to measure/cut/ and weld the pipes. The only problem we ran into was the stock header didn't wanna detatch itself from the rest of the exhuast so we had to cut the damn thing off.

Now time for the pics:

Here's what we started out with

My friend brian who was doin all the weldin for us. (He don't need no stinking gloves )

It was a bitch gettin the turbo to fit

Injector shot

i/c shot

The finished product

The setup:
Revhard mani
t3/t4oe .60trim, .63a/r
spearco i/c
hks bov
tial 35mm w/g .45bar spring
custom i/c pipin
custom 1.5ft long downpipe
Rc 550cc injectors
walbro 255lph pump
hondata s200 w/boost, and 3 step
pr4 ecu

Getting it timed this friday, and dynoed on sunday.

What u guys think???

Sweet!

But be warned, that pipe elbow coming off that turbo will explode, probably while on the dyno or at the track. they dont like heat + pressure at all.

i got a questino for you..

Since you are running hondata with boost opition is it already tune for your car? Because i have hondata s200 tune for my old all motor set up. And when i purchase a turbo all i need is to get the boost opition with a base program and after that i can run boost ? Cuase you say your car isn't tune so im taking you running your base prelude ecu program with boost opition on hondata right ?

yea the rubber hose was a 3 dollar home depot solution until i find a place that sells a 2-2.5in 90 degree elbow. Yea i'm running on a basemap for an ls since hondata hasn't put out an application for prelude ecu's.

that charge piping is kinda big ?? what is it like 3"

the 90 degree silicone hosing is gonna be $$$

if you are on a budget i recommend reinforced nitrile rubber. cheaper and it can take oil and fuel... while silicone cant .

Just find a radiator hose; cheap and can obviously take temp (>200F) and pressure (>1.2atm). Looks good

since i have the hondata s200 i'll just get a boost opition and tell one of the shop that tune hondata to burn me a base boost program like an ITR base program with boost. That mean i wont need to run on a FMU ? and do i still need a missing link and **** like that. If so can you tell me what i need thanx!

nice set up btw i like
