b18b rev limit
Why spin any higher-I can guarantee the motor is not making power past 7,000 unless you have much bigger than stock cams. Stock bottom end is not reliable past 7,200.

I spin mine to about 7500 with crower 404's. It doesn't make power past that so whats the point. I don't drive around like a formula driver like some peeps I know.
Take it easy but it is a lot of RPM for a stock bottom end. Rod bolt stretch is almost guaranteed if you constantly rev and also spinning a bearing. Use some good lubircant oil like mobil one or what I use Castrol Syntec. 10-30 and 10-40 in summer.

yeah rpm and rod ratios is over rated, also peak and top power is over rated, i biult 3 b18a, the 1st one ported head (by me) stock bottom end, ran over 100mph in quarter, but die to the bottom end could'nt handle high rpm and no oil control broke a rocker bolt due to someone toruqed the bolt to damn high, 3rd motor just was a stock motor and ever thing tuned far as valve lash ignition timin, cam timing, ect. then the 3rd engine had a balanced bottom end, rods and pistons, sealed power stainless steel rings, and coated bearings, 5w30 exxon oil and a ecu that would spin to 9000rpm, it only made power up to 7500rpm, but hey im not a honda biulder i biuld v-8s and smallblock chevy's, but imma really biuld a b20 nitrous motor and a h23 with a carb setup and see what i can do
