Default Where can I order a PE timing belt?

Hey guys I search for PE timiing belts and found 3 sites to order them from...1 of which seems to be no longer in business, the other didn't sell them, and the 3rd I just ordered a Toda belt from because they didn't have PE, and they just called and said they are on back order until late October...

I just want a timing belt lol...any good companies to deal with?

You would think it would be easier to buy a timing belt...but I seriously can't find PE anywhere....

I got mine from Marty @ Injected Performance. Not sure if he is still a sponsor on here though.

OEM is great, but no matter what anyone says on here it cannot safely handle a aggressive cam thats driven hard regularly....I've gone through 2 OEM belts in 2 years and each time, teeth were ripped off or splittering.

I gotta go with something stronger

I hope your ok man...honestly my OEM lasted 13 months with me driving my R pretty hard alot of the time... but I wouldn't trust it any longer than that with after market cams.

It didn't snap...the teeth got ripped off. I examined it and the whole belt was basically failing...maybe it wasn't tight enough...I didn't put it on so I don't know. But this time I'm doing the work myself so I will make sure its all together right....with a Toda belt also. It this belt goes I am going to figure out a way to build a steal chain belt lol...

isn't there a conversion kit out there somewhere to run a timing chain? I recall seeing it on a race application for b-series motors a few years back, but don't remember who made it.

I've been running a Greddy belt.

Been through 2 sets of cams (BC5's and Pro2's) and made many 9500rpm+ runs.

Cheaper and works just as well as the PE or TODA.

yea well I am pretty sure Greddy and PE and Toda are all EXACTLY the same belt made by the same company based off what I've read. At least the PE and Greddy, and they just slap their names on them....
