Default anybody have problems chipping a p28 automatic?

anybody have problems chipping their virgin p28 automatic for a manuel car?

Yes I have a problem. I have chipped 4 p28's before with no problem. This one is a virgin p28 auto. When done it would not run from the code on the chip, it would just run on the stock map. The 550 injectors didnt like that. I dont know whats wrong with the ecu. What problems are you having/

Double check all your solder joints, verify the chip, make sure the right auto pins are jumped.

I chipped mine no problem and put the p07 maps on there.

sounds like your J1 is not jumped right, if your still on the internal maps and cant get the external ones to work.

If J1 jumper isnt making a good connection, it will run on the stock map. try re-soldering it.
