Default comptech race header, is it worth the $$

hello, how's everyone today. well, I'm finally looking to put some money into the itr. I'm looking into a comptech long tube race header but I got some very important questions for you itr gods. first off is it worth it, I want an upgrade thats worth the money. second, since the collector is 2.5 what can I do to make it fit my stock rear section, weld a larger collector on my cat-back? Is there a easier way. Third, this should definitely have two bungs for o2 sensors, what can I do to not have a constant check engine light since there is no cat.And finally my last question, it says on the website that eurothane inserts are required for the motor mounts since there is no flex pipe I presume, what can I do? I was thinking of welding a small flex pipe to my stock rear section with a large collector to match up with the header collector. Is that too far back for a flex pipe? Or should I use one of those little stabilizers that connect your head to the strut tower (looks like a dog bone with kinda like a tie rod setup in the middle). A lot of questions, are you guys up to it? Here's a link to make you a little more knowledgable. thanks guys in advance.. http://www.comptechusa.com/sto....html

It makes very good power but the ground clearance is possibly the worst of any header on the market.

Also I would think if you want that header you will want to go with a 2.5" exh also to get the most benefit.

I want a fatter cat back but I love how quiet the car is now. also shows on the website that ground clearance should be good because of the staggered piping?

Any gains from the header would be choked off by the stock catback......so if u like the stock sound spend your money elsewhere

It SHOULD be good...but its not. On Ashais car you could actually see the piping hanging down from behind the car while driving behind it. It dynoed very well though.

i have one on mine and still have stock catback. It is worth every penny. Clearance is bad but just leave it stock height and you will be golden. I went from a 14.7 to a 14.2 w/ just the header.

I dented my Comptech Race about a month after I got it. Ground Clearance is HORRIBLE and I would not recommend daily driving with it.
