people do that all the time just make sure u run a wet or preferably a direct port shot. start rich on the fuel jets then lean it out and see how the motor reacts.

very possible with good tuning. my buddy on here (squirtin DC2) is doing a 300shot 2 stage direct port on a stock sleeved gsr block with 12.5:1 slugs in it.

I have always liked the Zex wet kit, its pretty safe too. You can talk to phasechangeracing on the big shot nitrous thread.

I have a friend who sprayed a NOS 75 shot wet on top of boost @ 400 whp level (in CRX HF). I *never* had any dyno time on the nitrous, just yanked a ton of timing, IIRC he only got ~46 whp gain from the rated 75 because of it. Bores became egg shaped pretty quick, but there's no pitting of chamber or scarring of bores. The car was a timebomb, IMO, but everything happened so quick at that power level it never came home on him. He's going back this setup with a 75 shot wet to spool, and 100 shot direct port "in case I have any trouble with liter bikes," I really have no clue if it'll hold together or not regardless of what I do on my end.

You'll be a lot safer with high CR if you are tuned for it. Read your plugs, dial back ignition timing, check AFRs, maybe seek out a tuner depending on your level of DIY in that area. ZEX kit sc4dr mentioned is a good recommendation, they have all the window switches included in the control box, are inexpensive, and supports a hair more nitrous than you are looking to run.

NOS and Zex rate their shots at the motor not the wheels like NX does. thats why he got less than a 75 shot. and as for the best kit is has to be NX nothing else beats it. specially since they have a life time warrenty and you can get anything fixed all you have to do is pay shipping.

I thought only ZEX rates at crank?

15% drivetrain loss off of 75 still leaves 46 whp gain a little low, not to be argumentative, but my point regarding ignition timing still stands.

ya, my 125 shot netted 100 whp, and 105 ft lbs. zex wet kit, i just retard the timing 1 degree for every 25 shot

Ok so NX it sounds like. Oh i didnt mention that it is a direct port kit i am lookin to setup.
I have been researching the ZEX kit and i like it due to the braided lines instead of bending those hard lines.
