hey teh company i got my motor form included axels.. i instaleld them they sememd to be ok but when turning the wheel and thruning the wheel around.. it semem to bind ? this book i have says to roomve dust ring is this nessacessary?.. also it syas that use with a jdm intermediat shaft will not work?.. im not queit sure wat an intermediate shaft is ?.. is that the shaft the runs along the back of the engine?..

 

Yes u need to remove the dust seal. You can use a 90-93 teg intershaft with 90-93 teg axle, some of the jdm motors have a wierd intershaft hat uses 86-89 teg axles.

 

ok, sweet but could u help me understand wat part is the intershaft? is that the peice that runs off the driver side off the transmission and runs along teh back of the motor?

wlel teh pas side whelel spin frely with out binding while my driverside semem to get real hard to spin teh wheell when weel is tunred to the right

 

Make it easy on your self, get a mid shaft from a "5 speed" 90-93 Integra and the axles from any 90-93(auto, manual, ABS, and non-ABSare all the same)

 

ok i already got brand new 90-93 integra axels that came as a gift with mymotr due to teh company screwin me over for a while.. i was wonderin it it were easier to get just one 86-89 cause its seems harder to get the old intershaft off while its in the car but ill take your word for it n i will get teh intershaft i ened cause i do wnat to us emy enw axels.. thanks guys

 

one problem my locla yards only have older integras veryf ew 90-93 and ones they ahve been strriped to the boone.. does anyone hapepn to knwo where i can get a integra intershaft

i could only seem to find one on ebay and it was 150 buy it now.. i offered him 50$ he has yet to accept for decline..go for broke how much do you wnat for the shaft? aslo is it in good wokring condidtion?

 

the passenger side axle is good,its the driver side that has problems,when you use the jdm sir1 halftshaft you have to make a hybrid axle, 88 integra axle with 90 integra inner joint..that is the equal to the jdm sir axle

as you've probably found out most people just convert to 90 integra halfshaft to make life simple next axle change..

Damn I've seen them go for $30 or so...you can get a brand new one from Acura for $100 more

Search ebay for Drive shaft, Intermediate shaft, mid shaft, half shaft, b series, LS, Integra...

Try all those and I bet you will find some cheaper, I did a quick search and found one for like $80 or so...
