b series valve cover gasket?

are all b series valve cover gaskets the same cuz i just bought a type r vavle cover and threw out my old v/c/g and ordered a v/c/g for a gsr and this one doesnt fit the v/c

all bseries vtec ones are the same.

It fits, there's a rectangular groove cut into the valve cover that matches a rectangular tab in the gasket, you just have to line it up and pinch it in.

mine dont match up thats the thing...i guess teh shop gave me a b18b v/c/g

Yeah, maybe they just grabbed the wrong one off the shelf.
