Default b18/b16 valve cover

if i swap my type r vavle cover on my gsr with my b16 cover, do i need to change the cover gasket,or can i just swap it and its done.thanks for your input

its recommended u change the gasket... just get one from the dealership its not 2 much... better to b safe than sorry

What he said. Valve cover gasket is only a few bucks at the dealer...cheap insurance.

ive never changed this before, do i need any sealant or any thing to make it stick and are all b series gasket the same,cuz im swapping between my two motors,thanks

No sealent required, just go to the parts desk at the dealer and ask for a valve cover gasket that matches the valve cover you're using. I'm pretty sure the B series covers are the same except for color, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

There's only one way they go into the VC, and it'll be obvious when you take the old one out.
