valve cover gasket on b16 same as b18?
i wanted to get a new valve cover gasket kit from the dealer tomorrow, anyone know if all b series engines are the same size? i got a first gen. jdm b16
thanks
also, is it cheaper to tell them the engine is an earlier year, so the price might be cheaper? thanks im thinking about going to acura and getting one for a 94 gsr

Not exactly.
The B series VTEC motors use the same valvecover, the 12341-PR3-000, while the non-VTEC B and even H23A motors use the 12341-PR4-000 valvecover gasket.

no you won't save any money...half the time when i go to honda to buy a valvecover for a 99SI, they give me a gasket that says "acura gsr" on the tag, so there you go.
