Difference between left and right OEM springs?
I recently installed ITR springs on my hatch, and noticed that the left side is sitting about 1/2" lower than the right side. A few days ago I came across this picture of OEM ITR springs, and it seems that there is a length difference between the front springs:

Do any of you guys know whether there is a difference, and if so, which side each spring is supposed to go on?
TIA

im guessing the the longer front spring goes under the driver wheel... simply because there is always weight of the driver over it... i could be wrong though
thats weird.. i've never seen that before in my life. different length springs for the left side and right side... thats a new one for me.
it looks like the coil on the right is either bent somehow or cut..
i have never seen that before in all the ITRs I've owned..

I think the picture is an optical illusion. The tops of the springs aren't exactly flush, and the top isn't perpendicular to the length of the spring anyway.
I've "heard" that the drivers' spring is a hair taller
. Hearsay is anything though. Just sit them on a table or other flat surface with the bases at the same point and check it out with a straight edge.

The springs are on the car right now so I can't really check without taking it apart. Really, I was hoping someone would know this for a fact, in which case I would simply swap the whole assembly from one side to another. Anyone know this for sure?

The springs should definitely the same length.

Easy way to find out: is there a difference in part numbers for the springs?
I haven't checked, but I suspect not. If not, there is certainly no difference. If so, that doesn't necessarily prove a difference exists.
