I have a 97 Accord SE with factory alarm. I have put in a new radio/cd player. NOW, everytime I unlock the door using the key, the alarm goes off. Then, I have to lock/unlock the door a few times to get the alarm to cut off. Is there a way to disable the alarm or make it not go off when I unlock the door? Seems I read something about the security system being tied to the factory cd player, which I no longer have. I would appreciate any help anyone could offer.

 

Part of your keyless entry system was in the stock radio. So you either need to completelky disable the system or put the stock radio back in. You should be able to unplug the box from under the dash though
