Ok guys heres the deal ive got a 00 SI B16a2 with ihe and ive recently purchased a turbo manifold for my car and ive also got a garrett t3 turbo .42 ar .48exhaust i was wondering if this would be a good turbo to run on 8psi on my car. Im planning on getting about 250 275ish out of it at the end ive heard these turbos are good up to 25 psi so let me know whats up HT!!!

 

You'd need that much psi to get close to those numbers. You'll make a lot of mid-range torque in the process, only because the turbo will start falling off in power after vtec. You'll also spool rediculously quickly, probably too quick for your tires/suspension. IMO b16 trannies are geared too short for such a small turbo.

 

i've got a Garrett t3/04e 60trim .63 a/r, alil bigger than what u may want but i think u'll be fine with the same turbo but 50 0r 57 trim:
