Default Garrett GT3271 Turbo B16A2 too big?

Ok, so I got an awesome deal on a GT3271 turbo. Is this turbo going to spool on my b16 civic si? I am going to start with 9psi, and eventually when I build the engine some, turn the boost up. ANYONE run this turbo? I searched HT for this turbo and came up with this...

THE SHODAN says it is a good b16 turbo. However, Im not sure if the GT32e has similar specs to the GT3271.

Also,

Again, the GT3271 appears to be compared to a T3/T04E "50 trim", which I was previously looking at putting on my car.

Here is the link to Garrett with the specs for this turbo.

thata a sweet snail! nice flow on the map also!

Should be perfect! Shodan is correct!

that should support 300+ before it falls out of efficiency range.

Thanks for the reply. Anyone else have comment on this turbo paired with a b16?

Oh yeah, I remember those 71mm. I changed housings when I used to put those together as the way the come in the box was kind of a pain. Out of the Box, you have a 6 bolt flange (weird) that almost no one has for a downpipe flange. Its nice that its internally gated, but you need to have a manifold that will support that. Otherwise, its a fun unit.

the 6 bolt flange shouldnt be a problem. i had a few patterns (got dimensions from garrett.com) torched out at work on 1/4 inch T-1 steel. Ill just have to weld my downpipe onto it. The exhaust flange has a 60mm ID. Can I weld on a 3" DP or should I stick with a 2.5"?

BTW... I got the externally gated version. I already purchased a manifold that supports an external bov.
