I installed a obdIIa single cam swap in my obdIIa hatch. Any ideas on the code 91?

find the right ecu for that motor u dropped in

 

im assuming u threw in a y8

91 is the ftp sensor

ur car didnt come with one so its gonna throw that code because the ecu is looking for it

if u search theres a easy fix for it that involves a potentiometer

i've done this & its been working for a long time

 

i threw in a obdIIa the non vtec swap. what can i do to fix this issue.

 

use an ecu that doesnt look for the FTP sensor

get a 96 dx/cx ecu
it doesnt look for it

 

Not all obdIIa cx/dx ecu's look for it? i think i have a 97 dx ecu.

 

the 96 ecus dont look for it because the 96 hatch cx/dx dont have a FTP Sensor
97 cx/dxs have a FTP Sensor thats why ur gettin the code
