First off the gas is bad for sure my man.

Second no engine should run on that ****. Change that gas our ASAP.

 

my car has been sitting on jack stands since 9/2005 still starts up on one turn, and idles just fine. with cheap arco gas ($2.25 gallon)

i dont think its the gas. check your main relay, coil, and ignitor inside your distributor

i knew it... gas will still start the car with a very rough idle but it will start it and keep running.


check your main relay, first. since it the most likey cause, you can use any 92-01 civic or integra main relay... use a friends.

doesnt work, then check to see if you have spark. no spark, switch out your ignitor, all 92-01 civic and integra's use the same ignitor..

still no spark. then check your coil all 92-01 civics and integas use the same coil.

 

also jay, check your pm.. and load the eg manual... this will show you how to fix the car. should help in the future. make sure to download it to your harddrive.

You said in your other topic that it's throwing a CEL when you try to start it. Go to this thread and check what CEL you're throwing.

i pmed you.. and yes if you are getting a codes, check to see what the codes are if you dont have those extra parts to switch out.
