having problems with compression!!!!
It could be a few things. 1st blown head gasket but you should still have some sort of compression. 2nd and most probable is a hole through the piston. 3rd a broken connecting rod but you will most likely have a lot more damage to the block
well all we did was try turning on the car, i dont remember how much pressure came out but i know the second and last hole of the spark plugs there was no pressure. No we didnt press down the pedal..
I assumed to much that you actually did a compression test and did that test correctly. Ok lets start from the beginning. You have a compression tester? Pull the fuse for the fuel pump. Remove all 4 spark plugs. install your compression tester in 1 of the spark plug holes. Put a Battery charger on the battery if you have one. Get in the car hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor and crank the car for about 10 seconds. Take your reading and write it down. Repeat for the other 3 cylinders. All the cylinders should be right around the same psi. Then get back to us with what you find but it is sounding like a bad head gasket at this time if you have more than one cylinder that is really low on compression
