I'm pretty sure my front left wheel bearing in my 93 hatch has bitten the dust. I don't hear any rhythmic knocking unless I am coasting and it continues when I am turning. It doesn't just happen when I turn so I am sure it is not the CV joint. That leads me to the possibility of it being a wheel bearing. Where can I find a walkthrough to replace it, preferably with pictures? Also, would it be easier to jst replace the whole axle assembly? A new axle will only cost me 10 dollars more than the bearing, which is rather weird. Thanks.
