96-00 OBD2 Car ~ 94-95 OBD1 Engine emissions?

i recently took my 97 hatch to emissions and everything pass, except the OBD2 signal. the guy looked at my funny and says, well you passed.. but i cant renew you with out a OBD2 signal.

is there a way to run a phony OBD2 signal in a OBD1 ECU?

not unless u get a obd2 ecu but then u gotta rewire everything

There is a way to fool the new OBD2 emissions but I dont want to say anything, you need to run an OBD2 ECU to pass. What engine/ecu are you running??

I could use some help on this too. My 96 Civic is converted to OBD1 and I need to get it inspected, and I live in NY, and we know that NY is Californias brother **** when it comes to this kind of stuff.

or I could bribe the place to just pass me somehow..hmm? haha
