Default Teeing of GE oil plate for gauge

Before I spun a rod bearing on my ls-v setup I was running a line off of the golden eagle oil sandwich plate to the head and the other port was used for a oil pressure gauge. Is it ok to run it to a gauge how i did? will that affect anything pressure wise??

TIA

Its fine to run it like that. Thats how i ran mine on my 1834cc setup. If youre really picky and good with math, you can find the volume of the line and add that much more oil.
