if you bolt them to the floor pan would there still be room for people to sit in your back seats or will the harness be bolted down pretty close to the rear of the front seat so it leaves some space in the back???

can you also use the sparco(not sure if its sparco) bar thingy instead of using bolting them to the floor of the backseats?...</TD></TR></TABLE>
That Sparco bar is a waste of money IMHO. Why are you going to attach your harnesses to a MOVABLE object like that? If you want to go that route, have a custom rollBAR fabricated, and weld it in the car.

it's worth noting that if you mount the harness to the floor, in the event of a wreck, there is a very great chance of spinal compression and serious injury. you should really only use a harness with a proper rollbar/harness bar. They're really not supposed to be a pratical thing.

this man is right, dont just put harnesses on cuz they look cool and you wanna show off your jdm bling. tell him how to do some research or post in the roadrace forum, there is a good illustration on how different harnesses should be mounted, but i cant find it on my computer
