Default Need help with fender removal on 5th gen (Searched)

I'm gonna be removing the driver's side fender fo my 5th gen. I searched and checked out a topic about it. This one guy says that it's easier to remove the bumper and a headlight to make it easier to remove the fender. Does it make that much of a difference? Are the bolts for the fender that hard to get to on a 5th gen? Is it worth the time to remove the bumper to get at those bolts?

Searched thread, BTW: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1234006

yes it might be worth your time to remove the front bumper. cause there are some bolts that are behind the fender that are hard to reach with the front bumper still on the car.. oh ya and there's a bolt that is hidden by the kicker panel. so you might need to remove your sideskirt also.

Yes, drop the bumper 1st -it will allow you to access the bolts.

One more thing . . . I don't need a lift for this job, right? I'm getting help from my friends, and they only have jackstands.

You'll also need to take the side skirts off in order to get to the bottom bolt that's holding the fender in place

Hmmm . . . alright. Thanks a lot for the info. I'm actually replacing the fender becuase my current fender is dented and I managed to find one in my color (Eucalyptus Green) on eBay.

I got the fender for $100 shipped. Better than what the local body shop was quoting me for.

Seriously. I just searched "Honda Prelude OEM fender" on eBay and it popped up. Apparently nobody looks for a driver's side fender in Eucy Green on eBay, LOL.
