Hey guys, I wanted to upgrade my stock front speakers. I was thinking about getting a sub but again I dont need the whole world to hear it and all i neeed is for myself. I was wondering what size will fit my Front audio and is full of bass. Rember my car is a EX so it has tweeters and I want to leave those a lone. I jus want to know what speakers would be a choice you guys would consider.. thanks a lot

A standard 6.5" that is no more the 2" deep will fit without mods, a deeper then 2" speaker can be installed with minor mods. here is one that will fit and gives good bass response, [if installed properly]... http://www.eclipse-web.com/integrated/se8365.html a better one... http://www.eclipse-web.com/point/sp6500.html it will require that you cut a hole in the back of the stock speaker housing for the extra mounting depth it needs.

Both would sound better with an amp on them, the 3way (40W) with a 2x50W rms amp and the Point Source 2way (60W) with a 2x75W rms amp.

If you want really good sound an very good bass response You will need to replace the stock plastic speaker housings with custom MDF ones. 94
